Reformer pilates builds strength, stability and flexibility while improving posture, core control and joint mobility. The spring-loaded resistance on the reformer offers a low-impact, full-body workout suitable for almost any fitness level.
Mat pilates is performed on the floor using bodyweight and small props. Reformer pilates uses a sliding carriage with adjustable spring resistance, which adds challenge and variety while supporting controlled, low-impact movement.
Wear comfortable activewear you can move in, bring a water bottle, and grippy socks (available for purchase if you do not have your own). Towels and amenities are provided in our studios.
Our reformer classes are kept intentionally small so every member receives personalised guidance. Class sizes are capped to match the number of reformers in the studio.
Not at all. Our Foundations classes are designed for beginners and our instructors will guide you through every movement with appropriate modifications.
Reformer pilates can be a great low-impact option during rehab or pregnancy, but please consult your medical professional first and inform your instructor of your circumstances so the workout can be tailored safely.
There is a small learning curve, but our Foundations class is built specifically for beginners. Most members feel confident on the reformer after just a few sessions.
Reformer pilates strengthens deep core muscles, improves posture and joint mobility, and develops long, lean strength — all while staying low-impact and easy on the body.
