Nathan

Specialist Focus
We treat injuries as information, not merely temporary obstacles to overcome. Our team of Sydney CBD personal trainers specialise in injury prevention, movement rehabilitation, and building strength that holds up long-term.
Every injury rehabilitation personal training program at SOMA starts with a full postural and movement assessment. We map your compensation patterns, identify the root cause of your limitations, and build from there.
Are you coming back from a back injury, a shoulder issue, or a sport-related setback? Our programs create a safe, structured path back to full training.
And if you’re an executive dealing with desk-related injury or postural breakdown, our corporate wellness personal training program handles that too.
Studio address: Ground Floor, 88 Phillip Street, Sydney CBD. Accessible before 7am and after 6pm.

What We Treat
You don’t need a referral or a physio sign-off to start. Our trainers adapt injury rehabilitation personal training programs for a wide range of conditions:
Not sure if your condition is suitable? Get in touch with us, and we’ll walk you through it.
Every program follows the same four stages, so you always know what happens next and why.
We review your full injury history, current limitations, lifestyle, and goals before anything else.
Posture analysis, movement patterns, muscle balance, and body composition scans. We find exactly where your body is compensating.
A progressive injury rehabilitation personal training plan built around your body. Every exercise has a reason and a target outcome.
We track everything via the SOMA app: workouts, metrics, progress benchmarks, and direct messaging with your trainer.
Nathan and Ellie lead SOMA's injury rehabilitation personal training programs. Both hold recognised certifications and have worked with clients across a wide range of injury backgrounds.

Can't find the answer you're looking for? Our team is happy to talk through your injury and what a program would look like.
Not always. For minor injuries and postural issues, we can begin straightaway with a tailored injury rehabilitation personal training program. If you've had surgery or are managing a more significant condition, we recommend checking with your GP or physio first.
Physiotherapy focuses on diagnosis, treatment, and early-stage recovery. Our injury rehabilitation personal trainers work alongside that process, typically once you've been cleared to exercise. We build progressive strength and movement programs that prevent re-injury and restore performance.
In most cases, yes. Strength training after injury is one of the most effective ways to rebuild tissue resilience and restore movement quality. Our trainers use movement assessments to identify compensation patterns and build strength from a stable, safe foundation.
We start by analysing your posture and movement patterns to understand what's driving the pain. From there, we build a program addressing the root cause: corrective exercises, targeted strengthening, and mobility work. Our Reformer Pilates classes also complement one-on-one rehab PT effectively.
SOMA is located at Ground Floor, 88 Phillip Street, Sydney CBD, near Martin Place. Accessible for professionals before or after work, with all injury rehabilitation personal training sessions available in the early morning and evening.
